Further to my last rather negative post...

I've had a bash at some simple patterns. They're a bit rough round the edges but I'm pretty chuffed with them as first attempts.

I like the snowflakes and the cat. It reminds me actually I was meant to make some decorations like that for this Christmas but so far I haven't obtained a scrollsaw !!
 
Blimey! quick learner or what? they look great and make the "scrolled" bits of kindle I made look even worse lol

simple enough to draw by hand surely? Very pleasing to the eye by the way, well done.

Oh, I've got plenty o kindling!

I've had a great day, made a reindeer since these.

I just see one problem now.

I'm self employed and work from home...

Not a lot of work done today :lol:
 
Very good first effort. The lines look pretty straight and a quick rub over with some very fine sandpaper will produce an even better result. Well done.
