Filling Screws in MDO

I have a friend who has painted a mural on MDO (external grade MDF?), about 8 boards in total. The mural was attached to the outside of a building.

They need a way of covering the screwheads and then painting over them.

Can anyone recommend a suitable filler?

What about epoxy filler? Or auto body filler (called Bondo in the U.S).

There's several brands available but this (link) is the most readily available - B&Q etc.

It's the stuff that Frank is talking about - basically car body filler marketed as wood filler.

It's pretty well indestructable.

MDO is not external MDF, its usually ply with a Medium Density OVERLAY, just make sure you don't sand through the outer layer :!:

One of the epoxy fillers as has been suggested will be ideal, the ones for wood sand easier than car body filler. Ronseal do one that you should be able to get from a DIY shed, and Bonda Supersoft is easy to sand.

MDO in the States is also called signboard, for obvious reasons.
