It's a ploy it goes in there until you wash it by hand. If you do it sooner there will be more room in the dishwasher. :ho2

I think her logic is working to either:-

a. buy her a new dishwasher.
b. buy her new cookware.

or

c. do it yourself.

:-D

Yes, it comes out cleaner - but she'll leave out stuff that would wash perfectly well so she can get the pan in. :? :)

Argue the point with her until she concedes. That will work out well.

If I ever have trouble with our dishwasher I just give her a bit of a slap and she's OK in no time

We had an electrifical jobbie, but as it was never used it was chucked out and something more useful was installed.

One of our neighbours was telling us about the new dishwasher she had just bought and how wonderful it is because of the little amount of water it uses. Saving the planets water and all that.

She has a swimming pool that she winterises every year by half emptying it of about 30 cubic metres of water!! But she is a Northerner bless her

What is a dishwasher?

Okay, I know, but there's just the two of us here.

When I was obliged to take over the distaff side of life completely, I put all the dinner services, cutlery etc. away, but handy. I kept out two of everything for ready use. Result, washing up by hand takes 10 minutes, and no problems; as long as I discipline myself to washing, drying and stowing away after every meal. Sorted! So I have a reasonably tidy kitchen, most of the day and a happy spouse!
