Bench dogs are normally 20mm metal dowels that are used on an MFT table. Do a search if you need more info. If you buy a toggle clamp you can make a 18mm dowel and ply plate to screw the clamp onto. The dowel then slots into the clamp hole on your saw and screwed tight with the thumb screw.
