Sanding picture frames, would you use a ROS or a palm sander.

I would go palm to keep it flat, however my brother in law would like wider opinion.
 
They are one inch to two inches. He's starting a framing business, so how many is hard to say ;-)

using standard mouldings, you shouldn't need to sand them.
 
For small edge sanding I use my bosch gop multiool (the attachment which converts it to a small delta sander)
 
Interesting, he has a multi tool. I always found that difficult to keep even and straight on drawer edge for example.

I think he needs flush joints he can't feel with the finger. He's going to try with multi-tool first.

Anyone got a morso framing guillotine they don't need? ;-)
