My evolution rage sliding mitre saw has a 34mm extraction port, whereas my vax nozzle is only 29mm. Is there a special reducer fitting around as I would like if poss to avoid taping is as I use the vax for other machines.

Thanks,

Jon

One solution I have used for this sort of thing is a length of old leather belt, a turn or 2 taped into the port to reduce the size down.

I wouldn't expect brilliant results :( I have a festool cleantec fitted up to my big makita and the extraction is minimal to say the least. The only saw I've seen that has had any thought put into extraction is the festool one

Got to agree with Alan, most mitre saw dust outlets are at the wrong angle completely, my makita as awful, I may chomp a hole in the top of the guard and modify it
