computer program PSP

Hi All
I am using an old PSP 4 paint program and when I use the text I put in the text I need on my picture then at the bottom I need to add some more text but this cancels out the first text.
What I have to do is write first text, save, reload picture, do next text.
There must be an easer way.
Can anyone give some advise, not to tecnical please.

psp4 must be a very old program, you could go to Corel and get a 4 week trial using pspX2.

Regarding your text I would assume that you tick the text button and then the area of the picture you want the text. Type in the words in a dialogue box and say yes or something.
touch another tool (anything) then touch text again and touch the picture where you want new text and it should work.
But naturally psp4 might have been so crude you can only use text once. Or create a new layer and do text on that one again, that might fool it.
