This one is a small version (600 x 600 mm) of the big coffee table, also made of Lauan.
The only change is; I made 2 drawers one from each side.
The 4 screws (M6) are seating in elongated holes and are screwed to threaded inserts in the table top. I don't know if this kind of connection of the table top is good or not but it's the same as in the big coffee table and for the last 8~9 years, everything is ok (and it went through 3 climate zones, Japan, Israel and Poland).
