A description of the fault:-

The motor is running but the blade is not turning.

The motor was stripped down and found that the armature (motor) was OK and brushes were fine.

The problem was with the front gear which was just free wheeling on the shaft which the blade is attached to. This gear engages with a gear on the shaft from the armature but of course this has lost it’s drive hence the motor turns but not the blade.

The gear is obviously heat shrunk onto the front shaft but even though this has been tapped back into place and appears to be holding fast it starts to slip again when reassembled.

Is there a fix for this and are spares available?

Hello and welcome, I can't make any sense of the users manuals of any version on this table saw.
I suggest you get 3 posts in and then you are able send some pics, sizing is a click on the for sale forum.

The manual shows the whole motor as 1 unit. Depending on what you paid for it, it might be worth buying a new motor.

If you want to play with it. and of course, with it UNPLUGGED, check the other gears for movement. maybe theres something wrong between that cog and the blade.
If everything is turning freely. the only trick I can suggest is you remove the loose cog, clean it all very thoroughly, and reassemble using loctite

Bonded Press Fit

Application

The adhesive is generally applied best as a film to one or both surfaces. To guarantee an optimum coverage and distribution of adhesive, chamfers on the leading edge of both hub and shaft are necessary.

The assembly process should be done, axially aligned, in one fast movement to avoid adhesive pre-cure, which leads to lower final strength.
