Going through a box of odds and ends I got from various bootsales last year, I came across this rather large chisel. First two incher Marple & Sons I've seen. Weighs a ton and has a huge tang on it. Will be interesting to see who comes off best a piece of wood or it. I suspect the chisel will win.......

I've got something similar, 2 3/16" at the sharp end tapering to just over 2". It's a Hibernia so don't know if that makes it older or younger.
Trying to post a picture.

I have a similar one but 3/4" and its as hard as a diamond, really nice chisel.

A 2" chisel is a very nice tool to have you will find lots of uses for it.
