Carnauba Gold Wax

Hi, I have just had my Tablesaw and Bandsaw delivered. I want to clean off all the residue on the cast iron tables and then use Carnauba Gold Wax to help protect them, is this wax ok for doing that or will it do any harm to the tables.

I will be using webrax and white spirit to clean off all the existing residue. Any help will be appreciated

You'll be OK with the carnauba wax for the tables, actually any wax will do.
