Hi all.
Not posted in this wierdy roundy section before, but I was wondering if anyone could quote me for turning some (10 or so) of the low knobs found on earlier Stanley planes. Preferably in rosewood but I'd also be happy with walnut.
Thanks for your time.
Adam.

K, Lee Valley do aftermarket Rosewood knobs for their own planes. Happy to measure one up Adam if you want to compare with Stanley units.

How urgent is the requirement? I have never done this sort of thing before but if none of the more experienced bods are available I'll give it a go.

Sorry everyone, been away from the computer for a while.
A kindly chap not too far from me has offered to teach me how to do them on his lathe. Free tuition!
Thanks for all the replies.
If all goes well, I might even post a picture up.
As an aside, I was really tempted by a Myford lathe at the boot sale this morning, but I simply do not have space....
