I have a great saw for my wood but it would be nice to cut some bricks with the same level of accuracy - is it possible to fit a diamond blade to the saw or is this a stupid idea?

Thanks

Miles

Darn, I thought it might be.
Ah well I'll have to use some wobbly thing fromt the hire shop :)

I presume you mean a diamond cutting blade you'd use in a stihl saw?

I personally wouldn't dream of it but out of interest check the RPM of your current saw and that of the machine\blade you've used. Purely out of curiosity of course. Please don't do it.

And if your ever tempted just keep imagining the blade exploding and lodging itself in your face and taking your fingers off.

I think the first five words said it all, I agree hire a dusty old Stihl and keep your great saw for wood

Imho you not only risk personal injury but the dust from cut bricks would not be good for the health of your saw.

Is it April the first all ready  :D

It would make a hell of a mess even if you could.
