Thanks for the tip Phil. Personally I've never heard of Zoro my life is too "sheltered"!). Their web site looks v useful. Bookmarked

i purchased a nutsert setting tool from them , decent quality . Would that give you for example the correct size hole to drill for an m8 tap or the corresponding hole for a m10 nutsert ..
If you ever buy anything small from Zoro and wish to bump the order up to £25 for free P&P, buy one of these - they are excellent little books. The larger one is 200 pages.

Zoro are an online only business. They are part of Grainger (USA), who bought Cromwell a few years back.

I bought a load of these Avon brand telescopic storage tubes through zoro after getting a job lot of morse taper drills and reamers on ebay. They were the best value I could find.

Looks like one of those handy little books to have on the shelf Phil, cheers.
It's 10x the price but do you know "The Engineers Black Book" ?

Zoro also sell stuff on eBay, often at a slightly lower price for some items. I bought a deburring tool from them.
