I want to have a go at constructing built-in cupboards in the alcoves of my Edwardian house along the lines of the ones that were originally there.
Can anyone please suggest some reading that would help give me an insight into the techniques for making and fitting woodwork to the irregular spaces that old houses like mine always seem to have.
thanks
Simon

We make a lot of cupboards to fit into older houses at work and the basis is normally the same as any other unit except for we add side, top and base scribe panels to the unit so it can be properly fitted on site. The only normal exception is of the space isn't square, where a roof cuts across a bedroom for example.
