hi everyone,
just at the planning stage of building a front porch and door in sapele. it is from a dwarf wall and is quite straightforward i think. i would like to incorporate "fancy" glazing bars maybe like a double gothic arch. how would i go about acheiving this? i will probably leave it single glazed. i imagine the bars are cut on the bandsaw and machined on a router table with a bearing. how does it join onto the main structure? i also suppose the glass would be puttied in as glazing beads would difficult to machine.
