Wow - that is a coincidence. Looks very similar. Even the curved brackets. Spindles look great - are they sapele?

Great. I’ll be trying to turn my own spindles too, hopefully I can manage to make them all match as well!

Excellent. I did a couple of practice pieces, before I laid out a story sick - just some ply with the transition points marked. I found that starting with identical blanks and taking my time seemed to work OK. They certainly aren't identical, but customer happy

Nobody will ever see them from closer than 1.5 meters so there’s room for error I guess!
