Bosch fence for Lidl sander

For info of anyone who bought a cheap belt sander from Lidl.

When I bought a Parkside belt sander PEBS 900 (900W, 75 x 533 belt) in Lidl it came with an inversion cradle and clamps but didn’t have a fence.

It did have ribs on one side and tapped holes which looked like mounting points for a fence.

In a recent review of the Bosch PBS 75 sander the pictures of the fence mounting looked very familiar. I ordered a BOSCH fence part number 2 607 001 079 and it fits perfectly.

do you think the Parkside sander is actually a re-badged Bosch at a cut price? Or does it just happen to fit? What do they charge for them at Lidl?

I doubt if Bosch had anything to do with it, probably the same Chinese factory using a previous casting design. I bought it as a Lidl special about two years ago, can't remember exactly what price I paid but it was cheap, maybe £25-£35.

I notice you have your sander mounted upside down using what appears to be a purpose made bracket, any idea where I can get one for the same sander (Parkside PEBS 900 Belt Sander. 240v - 900w. )
