hi all, I have just finished making a small end table in beech with iroko inlays and i have put on 2 coats of danish oil. Will this be enough to protect the surface or should i varnish over this.

You'd normally wax over oil I think rather than varnish, although oil can be used in it's own right...

I was always told to keep danish oiling unit it wont absorb any more. Admittedly that may be only two coats with beach, but I would try to do more.
