Hi Jumps,

The grind Chris used is much more pronounced. That one looks like about 70 degrees across, Chris's grind seemed to start about 45 degrees and curve round significantly from there.

cheers - technical drawing probably better than the image (which is a Raffan...)

no doubt some kind soul will post some pics of their new skew when they have completed the transformation!

Cheers Ryan, I did the offset bowl hollow first, then the back & foot & finally flattened the top.

I`ve tried it but it needs a shallower grind on the cutting angles, though i`m fairly happy with the sabre shape.
