Is there an afterlife for a spent bandsaw blade? I'm about to scrap a 3/8" 6tpi blade, but the womble instinct is nagging that it might have another use. Any tips?
I was thinking maybe a bow saw or a kerfing saw (sharpening a short run wouldn't be too arduous). A home made reamer is another possibility but I'm not sure if the steel is hard enough at the trailing edge (always assumed only the teeth are hardened)
