I know that table saw tables are frequently used to stack all those small pieces of wood that "might just come in" before circulating this stack round other horizontal surfaces, and then after a year or two chuck the lot out in a fit of pique! I have an mdf lid on mine when not in use as a table saw, making it even more inviting as a table.i was just wondering if placing another machine on this protected surface is a realy bad idea. Max weight of considered candidates would be about 38kg. Not light to move when the TS is required, but as its on a floor stand it would not be as bad as lifting it from ground level. I do suspect it may be a bad idea, but then the TS seems solidly made. I would be interested in any comments.
