Amused to see an ad in the Collecting section of today's ScotAds for a mint Dinky Toys model of a Volvo 122s, complete with box. For £150; the real 122s that I had some 15-20 years ago didn't cost me much more than that . But unlikely to have appreciated by a comparable factor.

Amused to see an ad in the Collecting section of today's ScotAds for a mint Dinky Toys model of a Volvo 122s, complete with box. For £150; the real 122s that I had some 15-20 years ago didn't cost me much more than that . But unlikely to have appreciated by a comparable factor.

I believe that people like myself helped increase the value of these "mint" toys, by taking hammers and so on to them or general mistreatment. £150 is more money than I spent on 7 out of my last 9 cars in total! (purchase price, not keeping the b****y things running)
