Hi all.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a Scheppach Precise 4.0 from a friend for under £1000.

Does anyone have any good or bad experience with this model?

Cheers very much
Jim

No one got this saw? I think its the new version of the Scheppach TS2500ci.
Well, I hope its OK cos I think I just bought one....

Well it doesn't matter now cos I bought it. And so far it's great.

Its 3-phase, got the 1400mm sliding carriage, both table extensions, the micro adjuster on the fence, stop block on the sliding table and a wheel base.
All for £900 and only 8 months old with receipt to prove it.

Still open to any advice or tips anyone may have regarding this saw.

Hi. How's the saw going? I've been looking at the Precisa 4 for a while now.

Did you say you got the wheel base for it? Excuse my stupidity, but does that allow you to move the saw around? Record do a similar castor base. That would be very handy for smaller workshops.

I see they (Scheppach) are also stocking the expandable dado/grooving cutter for this machine.
