I picked this Tyzack saw up for a £1 last weekend at a local carboot, but cannot find any information about it.
It is in very good condition with only light rust and the transfer is really good, can any body give me its age? i know the transfer depicts TT46 but is that the year it was manufactured (i have checked first TT after WW2 was 1947).
As always any help appreciated.

Steve

Love the etch/transfer!!

But the handle styling looks post 1970 to me; odd, since the "style" of the etch is earlier.

I've never heard of the brand (TT, not Tyzack, I've heard of Tyzack :) )

Here's a more targeted search

Which gives us actual information on the saw in question.

The saw on eBay looks older (and slightly better) than yours - note the more elaborate shaping on the handle - although I rather doubt the vendors 1900's suggestion.

The transfer is what first caught my eye Bugbear,as you say possibly no great age certainly not 1900's,but its mine :)
Jacob, thanks for the links i did peruse the web but i easily get distracted!
