I'm planning to slightly repurpose some Ikea Varde freestanding kitchen units, and will almost certainly need a few extra cam and dowel fittings. I'm hoping to get something the same size, so that I can use existing wooden parts to get the hole positioning spot-on. However, my wife is not keen on me wrecking the kitchen to measure the existing fittings, and so I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before she disappears to the states for a week. I have measured on of the cams, which is 14.74mm in diameter, and 13.6mm deep, and has the number 7 on it. Any help appreciated.

Thanks to all. I have mulled this over, and decided that I might be better off using pocket hole screws, for which I already have the equipment. Although a wooden dowel or two might add a bit of strength. I fear that I might not to be able to achieve the necessary precision for cams and dowels.
