    Rapier 400 bench plane

    Does any one know about this brand please. Plastic handles, No 4 size, casting has Gateshead England, handle has Rapier cast into it. Lever cap has Rapier and knurled screw knob instead of lever. Frog is good of Bailey type. Best wishes, David

    Millers Falls cigar shave. Any users please?

    I have just sharpened a nice reproduction of a Millers Falls cigar shave, Very perplexed by depth of cut control, or the lack of it. Should the bevel on the inside of the blade be kept as fine as possible or am I barking up the wrong tree? Best wishes, David
