I want to polish my cast iron so will call into an Axminster store on the way home from work this evening. :D
They sell both paste wax and machine wax. Is it worth buying the more expensive machine wax?

I use Liberian lubricating wax and GT85 for all my cast iron work

Lathe, morticer, band saw all get a wipe of GT85 before I close the door, no rust whatsoever.
