My question relates to the effectiveness of finishers following treating wood with a pest control substance.
Say one has treated the wood with a pest control substance, like Cuprinol, can you then apply a finish like a varnish or an oil without worries of the finish not taking or coming off or there is an adverse reaction say; discolouring, patchy etc.
There are many discussion about woodworm but I can't find articles relating to my question. Any experiences or thoughts would be helpful and welcomed.
