I think it is about time I gave back my wife's apron (yellow and white) and purchased a new woodworkers one, now not to expensive but easy to slip on.
Any idea's were to get one, I have looked on ebay.

I use a Tormek apron, scores high for glamour but low for practicality as it's more fuss to get on than a suit of armour.

The only thing I found with aprons, is if I wore the normal 'loop around the neck' sort, come the end of the week I was in agony. Having one with the straps over the shoulders has pretty much eliminated the pain

If I was to wear an apron I would remove the neck and main strap from one end and get SWMBO to stitch on some velcro, that way should it get caught in a lathe, drill press or something similar it would detach itself before I came to any harm.

As it stands I have to cut off the neck strap and sew on long straps and loops so it criss crosses over my shoulders. If only there were somewhere that sold them like this already. ........
