Woodwork and woodturning suppliers in Wiltshire

Hi all

Can anyone recommend any shops/yards in the Chippenham area that are big enough for a visit? I'm here for another two days and am contemplating a trip down to Yandles but if anyone knows anywhere like Yandles but nearer I'd be pleased go hear about it!

its in Box - take the A4 from chippenham, through Corsham then down Box hill, the yard is on a very small indy estate on the right immediately before you go over the Box Tunnel Bridge.

Used them a few times (i'm in Corsham) mainly their off cuts bits - very good vfm and theyre all nice peeps to talk to as well

(hammer) Hi- have alook at Vastern Timber at Studley. Between Calne and Chippenham. BIG sawmill which concentrates on Bristish hardwoods. Sells both air and kiln dried and have burrs etc for turning. Ask for Alan who will show you round. Good luck (hammer) - Andy Goodfield
