Hello to you all I am a new member.
Can anyone tell me where I can get IMPARTIAL advice on buying a Router for my small workshop.

Probably on here. Tell us what you want it to do, your budget etc.

You may well find that there is not much difference between the brands. For example, a DeWalt, Bosch, trend, Makita etc will all joint worktops with ease. Where some may score points is their features for table use.
