I used to get it from homebargains myself as it was something around 60p for a 50m roll , but they no longer seem to stock it.
Was wondering where do you guys get yours from?
screwfix/toolstation charges just stupid prices for it, and I tend to go through a lot of it so was thinking of just buying it in bulk from somewhere + maybe I can find a better quality one as well.
What kind of masking tape do you use and where do you get it from?

I use the Poundland stuff - http://www.poundland.co.uk/tommy-walsh- ... ape-4-pack

Never had a problem with it. Use it a lot to edge-wrap scrollsaw stuff for stack-cutting, it has good tensile strength (for masking tape).
I bought that stuff once as well thinking -wow,nice price.
Until I brought it home, opened it only to find that there's almost nothing on each roll :D
It's clearly written on the packaging how much there is inside but I think I just didn't read carefully enough ,I never thought someone could be so cheeky by putting 1 roll worth of tape on 4 just to make it look like you are getting a good deal
Now I double check the fine print on poundlands stuff

Tesa masking tape always sold well when I had my tool shop - customers would ask for it by name. Not the cheapest but I think you've already discovered what that route brings you. I think Axminster sell it, among others.

Home Bargains was my choice as well until they stopped selling it. Pound land and Aldi etc all cover up the edge of the roll with the label so you can't see how little there is on it. I think it's Screwfix stuff I have at the moment, probably picked it up when I was in getting other stuff.

Buy from a car bodywork repairer suppliers. It's good quality (car repairers won't use rubbish) and cheap in bulk.
Google auto body shop supplies.

I just ordered as test some 3m Tape from here

Cheaper price than in SF/TS for non-branded stuff + I ordered at 7PM yday and it was here today at 10am with free shipping as well...

Tried to use it today and WOW what a difference when compared to the Homebargains tape, I had bought some tape from toolstation as well in past which as kinda ok but really overpriced, but this has so much better quality...
I think that tape is from their lower range, but still it has to be the best tape I have used so far...
