When it goes wrong, don't bin it

Looking through woodwork pics on Flickr I found this pic

The chap who made it apparently binned it when it cracked, then he had the idea seen in the pic.
I think it looks great, so I thought it might encourage people here when you get a turning project go wrong.

Just goes to prove that what is a "defect" to a woodworker is a "feature" to a woodturner.. :wink:
