does anyone know what these are called? I need to buy some with a longer stud but I'm buggered if I know what they are called to do an interweb search...

Thanks roger, that's a start, it isn't a vibration damper though... or at least I don't think it is the black bit in the middle is a hard plastic hex nut its acting as a mount converter thingy! the course thread goes into a plastic moulding on the winder body allowing you to bolt it through a plate with the parallel stud side. I don't really want any movement once its mounted.

Just for information the mounts with a rubber isolating middle are called "Lord Mounts"

They're called exhaust bobbins in the motor trade.
