The problem is the tabs either side, if they are how it is secured, as I suspect, then a normal fork isn't going to work, nor will it be easy to modify any standard fitting. Probably a bespoke part. I would be very surprised if they will sell you just the connector. Probably be a new one of whatever is on the other end !
I think you may well end up having to make one.

Thanks for the input all. I've included some pictures of the connection port and the connector in place. It sits in at a 90 degree angle, which makes it a bit delicate to remove without bending it.

Record say they'll supply a replacement length of wire with a connector, so hopefully will be all good.

UPDATE:

Ok having received a replacement motor, I see the issue. The connector in question isn't meant to be disconnected. On the other end, there's a standard connector that removes much easier. It never occurred to me to check and disconnect the other end of the wire! Lesson learned.
