Watercolour.

The upper picture is a photograph taken on Dartmoor many years ago,
The painted picture below is my adaption using so called artistic license, depicting a Highland and Dartmoor painting.

Very atmospheric Dev, a nice rural scene and you have captured the character of Dartmoor.. I like the little figures, the cottages in the middle, the mountains fading out and the stone bridge and wall. With painting and sketching you can keep forever adding things ie you could add some sheep and sheepdog in the foreground shrubs flowers birds on the wall etc. Wonderful as it is and great to see some art here and look forward to seeing some more.
