My brother owns a piece of woodland. From clearing/thinning some trees he has some burrs (I don't know the species). What is the best thing to do to prepare it for veneers with a bandsaw?
1. Let it dry naturally as is
2. slice into perhaps 1" thicknesses, stick and let dry
3. slice into 1-2mm veneer sheets and then perhaps layer with paper, weight and let dry.
any other ideas?
