I can't see anything other than an adjustable fence sliding in one of the table channels. Often called a Mitre Gauge or Guide but, of course, they adjust to all angles.

No guarding and a poorly adjusted thrust bearing. What's the point?

Guarding? Should I have a guard? Which brings me to my new resolution: to stop cutting tiny things very very very close to the blade. That's bad, right?

So, mitre gauge is the thing she's using.

The guarding
there should be a guard covering the exposed blade above the guides There isn't in this video
