Just thought I would share some pics of gifts I have made for certain people at our wedding.
These are my first boxes that I've made but I think they have gone pretty well.
The 4 small boxes are oak with either mahogany lettering or banding with purpleheart splines.
The big post box is oak with sapele legs and mahogany banding.
This was my first time making an intarsia and I think it went pretty well.
It was a last minute gift as I only found out yesterday that my father was giving a speech tomorrow.
There are a few small errors in all of them but hopefully no one will notice or care.
I forgot to take pictures as I was making them so have no WIPs.
All finished with a couple of coats of finishing oil and then bison clear wax.
