Hi im new to this forum, just bought a wadkin baos, it has the speed control switch knob spapped off, does anyone know of a new switch that would replace this, and where to buy, spares at wadkin are limited to bearings etc, no electrical parts.
 
Any suitably rated drum power switch should do this. Do you really need the switch, rather than a knob which could be easily made from some metal rod or even wood.
Such switches are available on ebay from various vendors. I use this one as it happens

There should be a circuit diagram inside one of the control box covers so you can see the number of switch poles needed for your particular motor.

Make totally and utterly sure that you know which wire does what before disconnecting the old switch!!!!!!!!
