This is a good quality veneer press, ideal for boxes and other small items (for example you could veneer the top of a side table).

It will press to a size of 460mm x 390mm up to about 150mm thick depending on how many ply cauls you use. It's well sorted, with felt pads to equalise pressure and it's easy to place on bearers and add F clamps to the perimeter steel work to increase pressure. I've used it successfully on many small projects and it really does perform well, but I vacuum press everything these days so it's just taking up workshop space.

It's free for collection in Lymington, Hampshire (on the south coast, mid way between Bournemouth and Southampton).

If you're new to veneering I can walk you through the process. I'd prefer that it goes to someone who will actually use it, so send me a PM if you're a doer not a dreamer and can pick it up sooner rather than later!

I once considered custom making some mahogany plywood from mahogany veneer;
I wanted an item with a complex shape to be both attractive and strong.

I eventually found another solution, but if I'd had
that press handy, I'd probably have followed my initial idea!
