Hi all

So with the help of this site and Joe Woodworker I built myself a vacuum pump and bags. Based in South Africa it wasn't the easiest thing to source some of the parts needed.

Bu it seemed to work!

I know could do with some advice on the trimming and sizing of the the piece.

There will be a veneer or formica over the top which would make sense to adhere prior to sizing.

I tried to finish the downturns on the router table by leaving the ply attached to the form and running a bearing cutter along the form at the correct height. It worked in a way to trim the downturns straight but it chipped the ply (and if there was veneer / formica would have chipped that too). Suggestions?

Also the trimming of the piece to width, I tried using a table saw and as you see it didn't work well, suggestions. I don't own a bandsaw. and to be honest it would have to be rather large to pass the piece through, its around 380mm in depth.

I need to get some finished articles as I have a potential customer who wants them for there Gyms.

Many thanks
