I note that our forum gets a good write up in British Woodworking there is even a picture of Charley.

Angela, you realise that your avatar will now provoke a long and heated debate about what footwear is appropriate for the workshop.

Given the high percentage of forum users who refer to their Significant Other as SWMBO, I thought a little dominant fetishism would be acceptable. Was I wrong?

Hmmmm, I wonder how long I would be allowed to have an avatar like that, it would be banned as it upset the moderators who dress in fetish shoes

That I would like to see. But surely you mean kinky boots - well, in the workshop anyway?

In fact my avatar appears to have passed scrutiny. Neil, I think it was, just now asked for it to be resized to meet the forum rules. It was 20 pixels too long. Heaven forefend!

I'm with you, Senior, about rule number 5 though. And bring back Mr Grimsdale I say. I always value his views. I'm getting a little tired of prissy commercial interests obstructing good lively and challenging debate on craft and other issues.

If you wish to call Mr Grimsdale back you can do so by going here

I'm afraid I cannot comment as I am maybe going to take a months holiday (compulsory)
