Since SWMBO came out of hospital, she has been restless at night. The bedside lamp has hit the floor on five occasions so far. I don't mind buying a new lamp, now and then, but it always happens when I have gone into sleep-mode proper, and the disturbances are playing havoc! So it's time to call a halt on it, before I become a complete zombie! I'd like a lamp I can put out of her reach, but also have the means to control it from my side of the bed! Is there such a thing as a remote, switch for table-lamps?

I can't seem to make Google understand what I am after. I am probably missing something, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks folks

Steve, Phil,

Many thanks. I was thinking of a torpedo switch AIH. The last one I used was when I was a nipper! I'll see how long the remote lasts. It will be the one and only, so maybe I can fix on a place to keep it! If I go belt and braces on this one, I can go for both options, to see which one suits.

Obliged to you both.

John.. :D
