I've been asked to price up a trophy cabinet for a prestigious tennis club. I've made plenty of alcove cabinets etc but nothing that needs to be as secure as possible.

It will have doors with a toughened glass panel.

A couple of questions.....

What type/s of locks could I use?
Should I go for butt or concealed hinges?

Thanks

Before I'd do anything, I would put it in perspective, in relation to its setting, I.E. " It's not storing the crown jewels, and it's not a bullion reserve", so you could probably fore go the armed guards and landmines. :D

If you look at it from the point, that if someone is determined enough to get in it, then no matter what level of security you employ they will get in. however striking the balance between overkill and deterring the casual opportunist is where you want to be.

That's pretty much a model that I employ when doing target hardening and crime prevention assessments.

Bearing that in mind, something along these lines might give you a starting point? http://customgunsafe.com/standard-gun-c ... play-case/
