Has anyboby tried this?

At £3.83 per 500ml it seems very cheap compared to the big brands.

I have been promising myself that I will learn 'proper' finishing for a long time, but if it turned into a pigs ear I might not try again, so if I do buy some of this, I want it to work.

Any comments much appreciated.

Yes, I've been using some this last month. I like it a lot - fresh Dries fast and hard, and cheap to boot - you can't go wrong.

You won't make a pig's ear of it, any bad finish or mistakes can be rectified by furthet coats of shellac polish, the whole can be amalgamated into one finish with a methylated rubber and finished again from there.
