Anybody done it ? Hard as nails, could contain nails and releasing all that tension. Sounds like a nightmare but the price is screaming come and buy me.

Many thanks - an extremely interesting video. Living in the Australian bush like this solo woodman would be very tough even today. Only the toughest and experienced bush-men could survive the dangers from snakes and spiders, swarms of flies and biting insects and the extreme heat. Even Ray Mears would struggle.
As an aside, I believe there is a restriction for felling trees even dead ones in New South Wales in an attempt to halt the severe loss of wildlife habitat. Perhaps one of the Australian members could comment on this.
