I was just curious to hear what other think of this style of bench? I used to own the top of a levard bench with no legs, a project on the todo list, I needed space and wanted a newer bench (was old and ugly) so I sold it. I then brought a 2nnd hand bench (over payed) that on first looks seems a great deal and a keeper. Turns out it wasn't! the vices rattle and wobble all over the place and it's warped in several places. Great!
Well.. I just brought both face and tail vices for a levard bench (£11) I'm going to make the rest this time but I might make some changes to the design.
. Do I scrap the wooden parts of the vices (ok con) and make anew? What would you do.
I probally wont make this bench untill July.
