I managed to cross-thread the thread in my tailstock, I have just been on the phone to them, £22 including next day postage. That is for both threaded parts.

I think that is very cheap, I thought it was going to come to much more than that, and they are in stock, that is fantastic service and very reasonably priced.

and they sorted out the bandsaw blade issue I had recently.

I don't know if they still do it, but Axminster used to guarantee their bandsaw blades and replace them if they broke at the weld. They replaced a couple for me, no questions. A great service from a good company!

A friend phoned me across yesterday to ask about why he couldn't get the baseplate off his pretty new large Ryobi router so that he could put it in a table. We attacked the screws with gusto and failed to move them.

"Phone Axminster" - (ie phone a friend). I was a bit gobsmacked when he emailed today to say that Axi were replacing it under guarantee.
